Blind Flanges

Blind Flange – A solid flange used to close the ends of pipes, valves, or pressure vessel openings. Provides high-pressure sealing, easy installation, and maintenance access.

Key Features

  • Solid plate design with no center opening

  • High strength—handles internal pressure very effectively

  • Provides complete isolation of pipeline sections

  • Easy to install & remove

  • Available in Raised Face (RF), Flat Face (FF), and Ring-Type Joint (RTJ)

  • Common standards: ANSI / ASME B16.5, B16.47, DIN, ISO

Category:

A Blind Flange (BLF) is a type of pipe flange used to close the end of a piping system, valve, or pressure vessel opening. It has no bore (no hole) in the center, making it ideal for fully blocking flow or sealing off a section of a pipeline.

Blind flanges deliver strong sealing performance, especially for high-pressure and high-temperature systems. They can also be removed and reinstalled, allowing easy access for maintenance, inspection, or future pipeline extensions.
